About This Game Soul Searching is a narrative survival game about sailing away from your homeland.You sail on your small primitive boat to a world of islands, dragons, and magic. It tries exciting story-telling methods to convey feelings rarely conveyed in games. Since all code, art, music, everything is made by one person, it offers a special sense of authorship hard to find in other games.Other than the single player story mode, game also offers a randomly generated mode from 1 to 4 local players. This offers replay value and requires players to work together to survive. More players, more need for resources, so more challenge, but more skills to survive.Soul Searching invites you to its world of mysteries. It's a Kayabros classic. One of the best indies I've played this year. Highly recommend it!. Here we have a lovely indie game filled with melancholy, depresssion, hope, dreams, death and living. It is a very small game but you can clearly see that every piece of it made with love and care.The story mode is maybe a bit short but definitely sweet and surely make you smile and warm your heart. Also you'll probably miss somethings at your first play so you'll give it an another try at least on more time.Also when you have couple of your friends with you, you could try random mode. Playing it solo was fun, sailing with your ship etc. but it is much much more fun when you have your friends with you to sail with. When everyone operating a different stuff on the ship, people coordinating how to sail, navigate, fish then you'll see how it is totally different from the story mode but equally if not more fun to play.Buy this game, it is dirt cheap.. Firstly, since my childhood i have played dozens of games, and when im buying this one i tought that it'll be like other games. You'll go somewhere, complete some missions and win. It's NOT. This one not like the other ones. When you first starting you're like "mmm, this game could be good." after playing it you're like "i learned something". I found myself in this game. I can't explain the game there but you can trust me you have to play this one. Just buy it. Your life will be changed after playing it.. This got pretty boring really quickly. Also, the mini games just annoyed the hell out of me.On the plus side, I got to see dragons. So there's that at least.. This game is quite a gem, it's not to long but what is there is definently worth a look. It's challenging, it's got an interesting story and great music. I think the price is more than worth it.. This is a thoughtful, beautiful game - I just only wish there were more of it!I finished the single player game pretty quickly, and with my friend's help finished the multiplayer as well. Great music, sad story.I would love a multiplayer version that was more survival focused (rather than solely exploration focused) and a bit longer; that said it was really nice to just sit back and fish. On the last update, I created a bug so that when you buy a boat, you would keep your old boat. This is now fixed. Volume sliders sometimes weren't saved.
